57 Starbucks Copycat Recipes You Can Make at Home

June 25, 2020 by Suzanne

This post was last updated on February 18th, 2021 at 12:46 pm

Who doesn’t love the sweet aroma of Starbucks the moment you walk through their door?  There is just something about those iced chai lattes, cake pops, and breakfast sandwiches that we can’t resist.  Luckily, there are many Starbucks copycat recipes that are just as a good (or even better), that you can make at home!

A nice, cold Vanilla Iced Latte from Starbucks is one of my favorite items to splurge on.  I have a secret to divulge, though.  Before we started analyzing our budget, I was purchasing a Starbucks Vanilla Iced Latte EVERYDAY.

And as a stay-at-home mom who brings her kids everywhere, many of those days I also ended up picking up a few cake pops, or a piece of Pumpkin Bread or Lemon Loaf.  That means I was paying anywhere from $5 to $9/day!  And to add to that, my husband would also swing by the drive-thru on his way to work, which would add another $6/day to that cost.

Yikes! That innocent $5 treat can add up to $1,825 – $5,475/year!  As someone who is always trying to find ways to save money and stick to a budget, Starbucks can seem like a huge waste of money when you can make coffee at home.  Especially when seeing those numbers add up!

But coffee at home doesn’t taste quite the same, does it?  It’s hard to drink a cup of hot coffee, even flavored with your favorite creamer, and then not be dreaming of your favorite iced, cold beverage.

But did you know that all over the internet, there are copycat recipes for the exact Starbucks drinks and snacks you love?  YES.  You can recreate your favorite Starbucks sandwich or drink in the comfort of your own home.  Which means you can also save big bucks by not paying that Starbucks price!

I’m not sure why I never tried it any sooner.  But after about a week of drinking hot coffee at home, I started to research new recipes.

I prefer to drink iced coffees, even during the winter months when I only opt for a hot beverage once or twice to splurge on the specialty lattes of the season. (Pumpkin Spice Latte, I’m looking at you.)

As I started to browse different iced coffees that I could make at home, I found out there was a world of recipes online to re-create all of my favorite Starbucks recipes.  AMAZING.

So, if you are interested in saving a few bucks by cutting down on your daily cup of Joe, let’s review all of our favorite treats that you can make at home instead.
